Hmmm, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those things before. I’m guessing it’s a marmot since you used the “marmot” tag with this post. The face is very squirrel-like, but the body looks beaver-ish.
I’ve never seen one either and wouldn’t have known it was a marmot, except that the Flickr photographer was kind enough to caption the photo. He’s kind of cute in his squirrely, bever-ish way.

Dog days already? It’s not even the 4th of July yet!
(Not that you’d know it, with all the fireworks going off around here. Damn kids.)
We’re getting ready to have more really hot weather. I can’t believe it’s already so close to the 4th. Gaaaaaaah…..the constant bang, bang, bang is not so much fun.
