Yesterday we got a big snow. The snow was so big it even snowed in the hummingbird feeder, which hasn’t been visited by any spring hummingbirds, but has definitely been crashed by several woodpeckers.
The snow got so deep that Sailor Babo had to see for himself.
After seeing for himself, Babo thought he would wait to see woodpeckers up close, knowing of course that hummingbirds were entirely out of the question.
But after only a few minutes, Babo decided that woodpecker waiting was no picnic. He soon came in and asked me to please build a fire (unfortunately the chimney needs to be cleaned, so Sailor Babo had to sit and shiver until he got warm).
Extra morning after the storm photo.
Hoping the baby blossoms survive the storm.
