The little squirrel at the top is new. You can tell she's different because she has perfect little round ears. The foodzie-faced one has a notch in her ear….and she likes to lean in close.

Wow – before you know it we'll see photos with foodzie face sitting in your lap!! LOL. Not boring at all – facinating. There were sad stories of a lousy acorn crop this year so it's lovely to see squirrels with an extra-special friend to feed them. Good on you.

Very cute! The only place I have ever seen squirrels was India but think those ones were grey and not as cute as these ones.

We have possums and other cute marsupial mammals. Most of them nocturnal though so you don't tend to see them in the day time.

I have heard they go crazy for peanuts. I need to get some in the shell that don't have salt on them and then watch all the hilarity ensue.

The trees behind my house had lots of acorns and hickory nuts this fall, so I bet she stored up some of those too. You should see her eat…she looks like a vacuum cleaner !!!
Not many koalas in Sydney. There are some kangaroos in the outer suburbs though and also some possums and plenty of fruit bats. Used to be heaps of possums at my mum's place in Melbourne.
