He looks like the guy who always pops up behind the reporter on the scene on t.v., "Hi mom!", that guy? 🙂

  2. LBeeeze says:

You're RIGHT….it was his enthusiasm that got him the gig !!! Just yesterday he was flopping around behind Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier when the producers spotted him and thought he might lend some welcome hillarity to tonight's festivities…. Be sure to tune in tonight to get a glimps of some of the remote coverage… LOL !!!

  3. LBeeeze says:

  4. SweetMisery says:

  5. LBeeeze says:

Snicker….look at the dude directly behind the broadcaster's head….he really knows how to strut his stuff !!!

  6. Waterbaby says:

artistry and drug addiction are often so intertwined, the Grammy board can't distinguish the difference. hopefully that won't be the case tonight. 😉

OMG, Prince!! I love him. He's pocket sized, even in stilettos.

It's a chicken and the egg thing….somehow so many of the gifted among us were or are addicts…Hemingway, Poe, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Keith Ledger, on and on and on….
Is it the artistry that creates the addict or the addict more likely to become an artist ?? Such a waste when they die before their time or when their addition extinguishes the flame of their creativity….
I have to admit I hadn't really listened to Amy Winehouse's music until recently….damn…..I didn't know that that big voice was hers….hope she gets better…

Purple Rain, Little Red Corvette, Raspberry Beret….sex on a stick even in all those ruffles and eyeliner !!

  10. Waterbaby says:

Um, from what I know, I personally wouldn't lump Amy W. with the likes of Poe, Hemingway or Hendrix. She to me is first and foremost a drug addict who may have singing talents. My guess is that in 100 years, much like her good buddy Pete D., she'll be remembered for her addictions, not creative contributions, if she's remembered at all.Heath Ledger … was he an actor by divine purpose? I don't know. He more fell into it. Was he a hardcore drug addict? I doubt it. I don't get the sense he relied on substances to fuel his creativity but rather to assauge pains and demons. It isn't my conclusion that artistry creates the addict … were that so, the millions of addicts in the world would be closeted artists and that is definitely not the case. Likewise, addicts are no more likely to become artists, in fact they're probably less likely! It's complex but in short I'd say there's a certain temperament that not all artists have that lends itself to addictions, escapism and attempts to blot out particular sensitivities uncommon to the population. But drug addiction alone does not suggest an artist beneath the substances … and I think Amy is but one example.Stepping off my platform now …

  11. Well, they need the tuxes for the performances 😀

  17. LBeeeze says:

I missed this comment from you until just now….long day yesterday !! You're right corpses are such dead beats. They do way too much lying around. You just can't seem to rile 'em up or appeal to their passions…. LOL !!!!

  18. Waterbaby says:

on the other hand, their manners are impeccable. you never find them yakking on their cell phones in public or while driving.

  19. LBeeeze says:

I just saw this comment…..after checking email once I got home…
LOL….corpses are the epitome of civility…they never bicker or throw temper tantrums…. They don't have to have their own way….and don't even finish the last the of wine and spirits….
It's just that unsightly body order that tends to linger…. Oh I crack myself up !!!
